BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

The Lizton Board of Zoning Appeals is an Advisory Board of Zoning Appeals formed under the authority of IC 36-7-4-900 Series and any amendments thereto. The jurisdiction of the Lizton Board of Zoning Appeals is the corporate limits of the Town. The role of the Board of Zoning Appeals is to hear appeals, permit special land uses and grant variances from the Zoning Ordinance. The Board of Zoning Appeals is made up of five (5) appointed members as per

IC 36-7-4-902(a).​

The BZA meets on an ‘as needed’ basis:

Fourth Monday of each month at 6 p.m. in the Town Hall.
