WATER

Built in 2021, the municipally owned and operated water utility is limited to the distribution system. Treated water is supplied by Citizens Energy which eliminates the need for Town owned wells, storage tank, and treatment plant.

The system includes approximately 5 miles of 6” and 12” diameter water mains along streets, bored crossing, hydrants, valves, one master water meters, service connections and miscellaneous appurtenances associated with the project. It provides adequate system pressures and fire protection (40 hydrants) for the community. The main 12“transmission lines along SR 39, US 136, and I-74 to serve the INDOT facilities which lie outside of the town limits.
