The Town Council serves as Town’s legislative body and is comprised of three elected community members to a four-year term. Furthermore, the Council President, who is elected by the members of the Town council, services as the Town’s Executive. The town council is the primary decision-making authority responsible for enacting ordinances, approving budgets, managing town affairs and overseeing everything from public works to economic development.
Town Council meetings are generally held the second Monday of each month at 7:00pm at Lizton Town Hall. Monitor the calendar on this website for possible changes to meeting dates and times.
