The Board of Zoning Appeals, commonly referred to as BZA, has the authority to decide appeals to The Town of Lizton zoning ordinances. The BZA ensures community development and growth comply with rules set forth in zoning ordinances. Additionally, the BZA addresses petitions for special exceptions to allow specific uses in a zoning district that are typically not permitted, if certain conditions are met.

The Board of Zoning Appeals meets the fourth Monday of the month, as needed, at Town Hall.
