The Lizton Police Department serves the Town of Lizton with two part-time officers, supplemented by the Hendrick’s Count Sherriff’s Department and Indiana State Police when officers are off-duty or occupied. The Town Marshall is appointed by the Town Council and serves the town twenty (20) hours per week. The Deputy Marshall serves the town twelve (12) hours per week.
While small in manpower, support from the Hendrick’s County Sherriff’s Department and Indiana State Police ensures the safety of residents at all times.
